Bod pod... You could easily purchase a caliper and get pretty damn close to accurate if you know what you're doing

Google for hydrostatic bodyfat testing <name of city>. You will find a very accurate test for a decent price. Last time I think I paid $60, usually runs from $50-100 most places. Some places have specials if you get your VO2 max checked as well.

Dual-emission X-ray absorptiometry (DXA, previously DEXA) is the most accurate. BodPod is good, but not nearly as accurate.

Hmm, well calipers are pretty accurate IF you know what you are doing. The higher your BF, the greater the margin of error. Most gym workers don't always know how to use them accurately. Personally I would buy some calipers and youtube vids, and practice until you get consistent results.

Is there a particular reason you want to get a BF% test done? I mean yeah it's nice to know, but get low enough + use the mirror and save your $.

Want to be able to calculate my BMR so I could tell what my maintenance is and if I want to bulk how much calories I need... I figured any1 who uses this formula ( I'd say 80% or more ) gets their body fat levels tested, no?

You realize a calculation (of your maintenance) is going to be a ballpark #, accurate BF% or not.

You can just use an online calc with neck and waist measurements to get a rough idea.

Buy a Body Bugg. mine works great and will cost about the same as almost 2 BF tests, but you keep this for life.
