    How often should increase weight?

    I've been told I should increase weight every week. And also by how much should I increase

    It depends.

    You made no mention of what program you're doing, what lift you're talking about, how strong you are.

    Usually, you add weight or reps whenever you can. That might be every workout, every other workout, every month. It entirely depends on you as a lifter and what you are doing.

    I took a look at a day, and it tends to have rep ranges, e.g. 3x12-16. In this case, you would start with a weight you can do 3x12 with and add reps each workout. Once you get to 3x16, you would add weight and try to do at least 3x12.

    It could look something like: 3x12x30, 3x15x30, 3x16x30, 3x13x35

    Don't think you have to stop at 3x12 when you add weight. If you can do more, do more.
