finally got my new Legend 3133 power rack & 4-way bench delivered. I know other reviews have been done on these items- but figured I'd share anyway. Overall build quality is top-notch (as I expected it would). There are tons of options you can get with these racks- I only got two, the monster hooks & beefy spotter arms. I didn't get the band pegs because honestly I would most likely not use them much- I know others like them but for me I didn't really need them. I love the rack its built like a tank. Assembly was rather easy- had a friend help me (recommended). It actually took longer to get it off the pallet and remove all the packaging. 8 bolts puts the whole thing together. Nothing negative I can say about this cage-So far I did only some rack pulls and shrugs in the cage-it laughed at me, basically I will never outgrow this rack. The monster hooks are way overkill ( I like that)-If the center piece ever does need to be replaced its screwed in by several screws to undo it. The beefy spotter arms are plenty beefy alright-very heavy duty. As for the bench- just as solid-love it. very heavy duty and adjustments are a breeze. The colors are black on slate frame (I am kinda reserved on my color schemes).I like that the gap between the seat pad and main pad is very small. much smaller than the bodysolid commercial bench I own. Both items are highly recommended.
Saaahweeeeet, Grumpytude!!!!! Glad to hear you love the rack!!!
Couple questions.. Are those pads on the 4 way utility bench black? The pictures make it look kind of gray but may just be the angle and flash. I ordered the black on slate too so your pics are a big help in picturing what it will look like.
Dang - really kind of wishing I had stepped up to the Monster Hooks. Not because I will need them of course, just because I love the rubber inlays.
So it looks like if you order the beefy spotter arms, Legend doesn't also send the regular pins that would otherwise come with the rack? I asked the Legend rep and he said it is a substitute, but someone else on the board here said they got the pins with the beefy spotter arms.
Oh wait, I now see you did say the bench is black on slate. If you get a chance, it would be great if you could post some pics of just the bench from the slide
Yes I am loving it- its a beast for sure. Yes the camera made the bench appear lighter than it really is. I like the slate color better than the storm gray on my other equipment. as for the padding it is black-again probably the flash, but legend's black upholstery is not as dark as say the bodysolid bench I own or their lat pulldown. I didn't get the other set of pins on the rack, I asked and the new safety arms are a replacement for those. As for the monster hooks-I didn't really need them too- but what the hell- I didn't really add alot of extras on the unit so figured I would splurge. I can try another camera to take some more pics of the bench.
Does the back crossbar get in the way of the bench's wheels for incline press?
Here are the pictures:
thank you very much for posting the pics- how the hell did you do that-thought I had the right tag on the link. No the cross bar doesn't even come close- infact I can now just roll the bench in-actually both benches, very convenient, Ilove it. Before with the bodysolid cage I had to reverse the bench towards the mirror because of the cross bar on that rack.

A side-by-side comparison in pictures of your SFID325 and the legend 4-way would be great. (Obviously the legend wins simply by being usable in the decline position with the leg holders )
ok here are the pics of the benches to compare, these were taken with a different camera- but the legend bench again appears to have gray upholstery, trust me its black in person-but again not as dark as the body solid, but its definitely not gray.
Jormone- thanks again for bailing me out- I'll get it right someday hopefully. I will try the legend bench out on a few lifts to compare with the bodysolid-mainly incline work. I like the smaller seat for incline work, but will try the legend out to see if I actually need two benches now. I do like that the Legend has many more adjustment angles. Tonight I will try out it with some decline presses (mainly because I haven't been able to do them in a while). I did notice too that the bodysolid is a bit longer than the legend bench. Any questions feel free to ask
thanks- I didn't have the head room for the nice curved pullup add-on you have on your cage. thanks for posting your review- it was a big help in making my decision.
So jealous. Waiting on my Superbench & Powertec Rack to sell before getting this exact setup. Do you have any pictures of that legend bench in decline w/ the leg attachment?

You won't regret it. I did some decline & incline presses today- I gotta tell you, it was fantastic! That bench is so nice and the monster hooks just absorb the weight of the bar when finishing up a heavy set-I'm glad i chose them as an option. I also did some skull crushers off the floor with the decline, so great. The only thing about the bench I can see as a negative is the foot/decline add-on only as one hole- so depending on your height it may affect you? But its rock solid and super comfortable. Adjustments are a breeze on it. I will try it with some incline dumbbell curls and some dumbbell presses to see if the dumbbells hit the outside of the pad seat when moving the dumbbells into position. i had an older body solid 9which I think the seat pad was wider) and ended up scraping each side of the pad up with the dumbbells, but I was not using the iron masters then so that may affect the lifts too. If these work out then I may consider selling the bodysolid bench to free up some space. I can try to take a picture of it in the decline position for you
thank you- I believe it will (it better) I pretty much sold all of my older stuff and started over- so I should have no regrets with all the new equipment (or my wife will kill me!). I might get their preacher bench too...see it never ends.
