Is it normal that skull crushers would cause elbow pain? Any other triceps exercise doesn't. Is this indicative of bad form or is it normal?

I do get pain from straight bar skull crushers. I either do DB skull crushers performed with a hammer grip or use an ez-curl bar. Also, try doing them inclined. If the pain still persists, maybe try a different movement for a while, something like close-grip presses, floor pressing, or high board pressing.http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165762691&p=1326599401#post1326599401
