I think P90x is better suited for people with muscle mass but also with some fat that they need to cut.

Does it work? Yes, but it ultimately depends on what your definition of "works" is.

It helped me lose 70 pounds with a proper diet, and toned muscles I didn't know I had. The program is better suited for fat loss rather than gaining size, but you could do both with enough calories and the right weight. With that being said, you'll probably need dumbbells anywhere from 10lb to 60lbs+. (I used a combination of bands and dumbbells, worked well enough for me.)

The exercises range from shoulder raises and presses to curls and extensions. Bascially, you'll need light weight for some, heavy for others. That can be pricey, so you might wanna consider using bands and dumbells, or buying something like a pair of the adjustable ones.

Its aimed towards those with high body fat percentage to get rid of it as it incorporates lots of cardio.

I've lost 120 pounds with p90x, and have retained a pretty nice physique (not too much muscle loss) - so yes, it works great for some people, but for others it may not be the best option.

Nice work man. Def mirin'. I dont mean to hijack this thread but I had a question for you. How many times have you done it. I am about to finish in 2 and a half weeks, Can I just keep doing phase 3 over and over again, since its the hardest, whats the benefit of starting from day 1 again?

Even if it doesnt really get you to bulk up, youd still get in shape though, like lean/athletic right?

At your weight I think it would be better to go to the gym. I did it for a month and lost 7 pounds. Which I don't think you want to do that.

Yes it works but it's not really the best.

It is mainly designed for fat loss so if you are skinny and need muscle it wouldn't be my first choice.
