I heard drinking a little red wine just before going on stage makes your veins look like they pop? Any one else heard that or have done that? The wine probably would take the edge off my nerves which might not be a bad idea. What you do you think?

I've heard it but never tried it out. You better experiment ahead of time and see if its any noticeably different.

I drink straight vodka, If I win or lose... I still had a great time
lol kidding im jst a wee teen, but i have heard of it b4. Also I believe I saw a video of Arnold drink a shot of Jim Beam, and it looked like he was backstage.... It was a funny clip tho b/c as soon as he drank it he slowly flexed and made it look like it was working instantly :P

i drink 4oz. 30 minutes before i go on stage and i can notice the vascularity from it
personal preference, and if i do bad at pre-judging i just finish the bottle at intermission
