Alright fellow competitors and followers. My name is Bill and I am 46 years young. I have always been an active person playing in multiple basketball and soccer leagues, as well as playing tennis, badminton, wiffle ball, pool basketball - heck - just about anything. Never really got into any serious, organized workout and nutrition plan - I always just winged it. I no longer play in my basketball league but still play in pick up games with the high school kids at the rec center. Still play in two outdoor soccer leagues - an over 30 league and an over 40 league. In December of this year I decided to dedicate myself to a lifting program. I started doing a full body workout 3 days a week. I watched my diet but did not really track my macro's or anything like that. Over these last 4 months I gained some muscle mass - but also a little more fat than I would like. My goal for this challenge is to get ripped as much as possible during the next few months. I don't want to lose weight to fast as I want to maintain as much muscle as possible - I'm shooting for about 1 to 1.5 lbs a week. You will see the details of my workouts as this log progresses, but I'll give you the cliff notes version of what to expect. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday are my lifting days. I was going to go to a split routine but never did so I am going to keep my full body routine. My main lifts are deadlifts, bent rows, bench press, Fly's, military press, various curls, dips, and various tricep on the cables, shrugs and pull ups. I'll throw in various others like reverse fly's, upright rows, face pulls, lateral/front raises, back extensions etc. at least once a week. Twice a week I play soccer. 2 - 45 minute halves and for the most part I will play the whole game unless we have a lot of people show up for a game - and that does not happen to often. 3 times a week I will be working out with my son (he is home from college for the summer - he plays football and will be preparing for next season - he is cutting as well so that's going to work out well!!) These are going to vary and I will leave this for future posts - I'm hoping the weather stays nice today because we have a nice outdoor circuit planned if it does - stay tuned!!
STARTING STATS
223 lbs - 12.8% Body Fat according to my scale. I now damn well that BF is not right but it will give me a measuring point. It consistently reads this.
Goals after 12 weeks - 205 lbs and < 10% BF according to my friendly scale!! As well as much muscle mass that I can keep!! Pictures will be posted tonight. I worked out this morning and did not have time to take.
MY STACK
My main supplements will be Juggernaut (all three flavors - om nom nom nom) and BCAA's (used as an intraworkout). I have some glutamine, Infinite Whey and Beta Alanine that I have left over as a result of the previous generosity of Infinite Labs that I will be incorporating into my supplements. I also have my Multi, Fish Oil and some additional Creatine Monohydrate that will complete my supplements.
Thanks for reading and look forward to sharing the rest of my journey with you!!Certified Personal Trainer

Day 1
Up at 4:45. Little tired because my son just came home for the summer and I stayed up to around 10:30 talking to him and watching the Bulls/Heat game. 1 cup of oatmeat with raisins and 1 scoop of whey protein and 20 oz water. 5:15 - 1 Scoop of Orange Juggernaut and 2 Beta Alinine Capsules and out the door by 5:45 with the Jug starting to kick in - oh yeaah!! Going to be a great workout!!
15 minute warm up/stetch etc.
Dead Lift (I just started doing these last week - great lift)
135 x 20 warm up
205 x 10
225 x 10
245 x 7
Bench Press - no spotter so I go heavy but not too heavy!! I want to finish this contest healthy!!
135 x 20 warm up
225 x 5
205 x 5
205 x 5
135 x 25 burn out set
Dumbell Fly - Flat Bench
65 x 10 (3 sets - Twist in, Twist out and regular)
Military Press - I go a little light here - shoulder have been feeling pretty good but I don't want to do anything stupid.
115 x 10 (3 sets)
Reverse Fly Dumbell - Incline Bench
15 x 10 (3 sets) - smooth and slow
Dumbell Rows - Incline Bench
65 x 10 (2 sets)
SUPERSET - Upright Row (UR) Behind Back Shrug (BBS) and Dumbell Shrugs(SH)
115 x 10 (UR) 115 x 15(BBS) 80 x 8 (SH) - 2 sets
..... use the EZ Curl bar for the UR and BBS
Curls

40 x 10 (Cross Body Hammer Curls - again nice and slow)
60 x 5 (2 sets Seated Isolation Curls)
Triceps
BW x 8 (2 sets - Dips)
Wanted to do some cable work for the tri's but ran out of time.
I have previously been using Juggernaut for about a month. And as usual, it did not disappoint.
Focus - 9 Can you say tunnel vision.
Energy/Endurance - 10 Felt really good this morning despite the short sleep. Really wanted to finish up the triceps.
Pump - 9 Pumps haven't diminished at all since the first day I used it.
Taste - 8 I like the orange flavor - at first I used 20 oz water but I cut that down to 10 oz and like the flavor a lot more.
Home, shower and ready for work. No time for food so mixed up an Infinite Whey protein drink along with 2 more tablets of Beta Alanine and 3 tablets of Glutamine.Certified Personal Trainer

Do you do an upper/lower body type split? Killer workout man. Also I am definitely mad jealous of your infinite stash man. If you end up bored feel free to send me a couple of each product haha. Great start.

Yeah, I'll do my lower body with Core/Abs 2-3 times a week. With soccer season starting I will probably either reduce my leg days or just shorten the workout. I might switch up my workout - my son is going to develop a routine for me (he is studying exercise science) so we will see.
