Hey, are you still running DC training style? Was reading your logs and noticed that the rest pause was mainly on workout A days and on Leg (B) day you only have one rest pause set which is leg curls. Im thinking about running a DC style routine to see how i like it. I am currently running 5/3/1 and want to see how i like DC. I will wait until after i cut my weight down before starting it though.

I actually haven't been doing any DC stuff in a long long time! But funny you mention it as today I did a rest pause set for bi's haha.

Well hurricane Sandy kinda messed this week up for me. Still managed to get to the gym yesterday and today despite not having power for the last 24 hours. I was hoping to upload a video on my YouTube channel first with a Wendler overview as well as announcing the fact that I was going back onto Wendler. Since that video has been delayed figured I might as well go ahead and make it here as I don't think many people follow this log.
To make it short, I've found my strength has dropped a lot since getting off the program and I just haven't been as happy. I really like the structure of the main lifts but one of the things I didn't like was that the assistance work wasn't as planned out. I'm going to try to take a more disciplined approach to the assistance stuff this time around and follow Jim's own bodybuilding template.
Big sessions pal. Hope the weather doesn't mess too much up for ya. Good to see you back on Wendlers.
Def feeling it today (my off day), but happy to be back on. Sucks not having power (I think for the most part everywhere else around me does except where i live). At work today so at least have internet and all that.

Back felt a bit tight and was worried about doing the good mornings as I've had trouble with them before. This high rep assistance work is kicking my butt, but in a good way.

Oh lawdy. 410 x 10... now that's just showing off. Did you see my new toy I got the other day? I treat myself to a Hex / Trap bar... it's funny how much more weight you can lift with it haha

had my DL day today. I decided on my last set today that I was going to cut the reps at 8 no matter what. I don't want to get in the habit of going super heavy and high reps as I find my form starts to suffer which ends up leaving me with a stiff back.
Deadlift
335x3
385x3
435x3+ (did 8)
Bent Over Row
185x10
185x10
185x10
185x10
Close Grip Pull Down
205x10
205x10
205x10
205x10
SLDL
225x12
225x12
225x12
225x12
Next DL day will up all assistance work.

Fuark, never realized you had a journal. Been watching your videos since you moved over to your new channel & I love them. Sub'd to this journal, already sub'd to your youtube channel.
I've picked up a lot of useful information from you the last 2-3 months, thanks.
