I used to think about this, where everyone may see "green" as a different color they just all know it by the name "green".
I actually thought it was believable but then if you think about how some colors, like brown, are generally disliked, and some like, blue and green, are liked, then you can guess that everyone does in fact share the same colors, if the majority of people have similar color preferences.

Agree with OP. It's nothing more than pseudo philosophy.
Colours (i.e. the different wavelengths of light) are explained by physics and are "universal". Same goes for the "mechanics" in our eyes, which perceive these "wavelengths of light" and are the same in every person (with exception of colourblind people).

This. But not 100%, it is possible that our brains interpret these specific wavelenghts differently, but we just know that the name of the 627nm wavelength as red. It's kind of hard to describe. Anyways this is impossible to prove/disprove (I don't personally believe it), it also has a specific name. Google "Qualia"
