I think he has a lot of potential in the future , when Flex Wheeler saw him at the first time , and when he knew his age , he said that Essa might be the future's Mr Olympia .
I believe in the next few years he will have long battles with Evan , Brandon , Huh , and other comers !!
His appearance at the 2011 AC was very short and fast , although he was shredded and cut very well , had a bad placing due to his bad posedown . Nevertheless , the 2010 Europa super show champion may have a bright future , just if he keeps the hardwork and dedication that it takes !!

Im a huge fan of his and IMO he has the most potential out of all the up and comers. If he was from a Western country I have no doubt there would be enormous hype about him being the next big thing!
Those (and most) photos dont do him justice

You said it yourself .. if he's a westerner he would have better chances . I know some Arabs could'nt make it without being sponsored by a western country ( like Farah himself or Samir Bannout ) .
Actually I think Obaid is getting all the financial support from his country ( since he belongs to the super rich UAE ) but the media wont support him like any other new comer from America ( you have to read what Nasser said about his suffering as an European stranger in US ) not to mention others from unknown areas like UAE !!
