I'm thinking about eliminating deadlifts from my routine. They just don't appear to be worth the effort.
I know BigAnf doesn't deadlift and he has quite a good physique.

I don't but only because I am scared of messing up my back which would stop me from lifting.

It's bs u don't need deadlifts to achieve a great physique, just lift heavy and take a dbol
Edit: I stopped them cause of a tight lower back issue, but now I just do back extensions with 100lb dumbbell. Works your lower back alot better"For me life is continuously being hungry. i didn't deadlift for awhile because of a lower back injury, and now my lower back is lagging hard compared to my traps/lats ect... deadlifts are he most important lift for developing a solid lower back imo.

Im never deadlifting again. I hadn't done deadlifts in over a year and screwed my back up Thursday and it's stil phucked today but a little better..... I don't see the need to do them either cuz a lot of guys i see that use a lotof weight aren't big and kind of weak on other lifts.... My avi is old i need to take a new pic but i do just fine without deads, benching 225x10 have over 16" arms when flexed (cold) and i weigh 185 now tryna get down to 180 , PHUCK deadlifts!

ive actually found from a sport performance standpoint
performing deadlifts for 3-5 sets of only 1 rep is way more benificial than 2+
i use deadlifts purely for more unit recruitment.
I will squat everyday that i can, but i deadlift maybe once a week. My deadlift numbers going up much faster since i switch to a few sets of 1 rep per week.

I phucked my pelvis up a couple years ago and am afraid of doing them because I had some terrible pelvic/lower back pain for two years. Might try them one day, but for now no thanks

lol at dbol statement ..
I eliminated deadlifts for over two years now.. I went to do a heavy set.. went to lift, bang.. cold sweat, goosebumps, and was my lower back was wrecked for a month.. a trainer told me that.. its not a matter "IF" you will get hurt doing DL.. its a matter of "WHEN" you will get hurt doing them..
I stick to squats.. works just as well."He is God, exalted is His state, wisdom and utterance. The True One (glorious is His glory) for the showing forth of the gems of ideals from the mine of man, hath, in every age, sent a Trusted One"

I feel mild pain in my lower back every once in awhile, it's probably because of my posture though. When I lift, my back feels better than ever. Honestly, squats hurt my back more than deads but deads just require too much effort and I don't see the gains I wish to see from them, although I feel like my arms and legs are a little bigger because of them, but still, not worth while.
