I asked this question in the keto section, but got two replies and one being a female (hard to compair) and the other said <500cals a day... <- lol 500cals
I'm wondering HOW LOW some of you HAD to go to reach your "pro" conditioning (Dont have to be a pro, just ppl who have gotten shredded). Obviously you want to keep it as high as possible to keep muscle mass, but if your balls to the wall and need to drop more fat, how low have you/would you go?
Looking for your all around macros....
- Daily intake
- Protein G
- Carb G
- Fat G
and while were at it, post what you weighed at the time.

(P.S. It would be even 10x more helpfull for those to post who where on keto at the time)

On that documentary I Want to Look Like That Guy, he got down to 1200 cals before his show. He started at 2500 though at the beginning of his 24 week cut.
Goal: Reach 165 lbs of muscle. 15 more lbs of muscle to go!
July 1, 2008 - 148lbs, 120lbs LBM, (started bulk)
Feb 1, 2009 - 190lbs, 140lbs LBM, (end bulk, start cut)
Nov 17, 2009 - 162lbs, 132lbs LBM, (end cut, start bulk)
Aug 22, 2010 - 210lbs, 150lbs LBM, (end bulk, start cut)

interesting, how much u currently weigh and how far out are you from your comp?

I started my cut @ 193ish lbs and 2000ish cals 9 1/2 weeks ago
Currently @ 160lbss and 1850/1870 with 4 1/2 weeks out (so i only cut 150cals in 9.5 weeks and still lost 33lbs, probly means I started to low on cals but hey its my first time!)
My macros are..
1870/135F/131P/45C FOR KETO (70cals + 18carbs are from a whole can of green beans a day)
Then I refeed once a week at around 3000-3500cals ~600carb/185p/<80F

Im not pro nor super shredded but as far as the lowest cals Ive been on......
20f/145c/180p - 1480 cals
It was not fun
after stalled for weeks we actually brought cho slowly up to 250ish and I started sropping weight again.556/325/622 - 1504 total raw @ 193
551/319/567 - 1437 total raw @ 181

I'm currently maintaining on around 3,400, and putting on about 1lb a week on 3,550.
When it comes to dieting, I reckon I'll only go down as much as 2,500.. we shall see though.

lol... I went down to about 500-1,000 cals a day for 3 weeks getting ready for a show back in high school. Talk about a crash diet. Felt awful. Never would do it again. Surprisingly I didn't lose too much mass and did okay in the show. It was a long time ago and we did crazy things getting ready for shows back in the 1980s...

I believe its .8 but either way my lbm is like 150lbs so its exact...
Thanks for all the replys, For now im remaining cals but deff upping my cardio!
I think im going to go with the rule NEVER GO BELOW 10X BW, sounds fair to me.
I actually have a super fast metab but jst started my cals too dang low. Its all good alright tho im not in a bad spot jst yet.
