I need glasses badly, was watching the hockey game last night and had to wear an old pair because I kept loosing the puck what a difference with them on!! didn't realize how bad my vision was.

I hate the thought of touching eyes and feet.. hence no contacts yet.. nor do I do people's feet :P
Those were caused from monovision colored lenses. Thr color is applied to Thr lens and sits on the eye-can cause scratches and irritation. I am known to wear lenses far too long during the day. The cockatoo hates glasses and it's sometimes dangerous to be around a bird who cam strike and take offa nose lol.

Me, I'm very nearsighted and can't see more than twenty feet in front of me without doing a Clint Eastwood expression. I'm also half-blind in my right eye, the result of an accident when I was a kid. I tried contact lenses once and couldn't stand the feel of them in my eyes. If I look like a nerd with my specs on, so be it.

I have the Varilux lenses and they were really easy to get used to. The current pair of glasses, the computer part is a bit too high, but that's what I get for going with a shallower lens.
