Need held identifying Powertec "Ab bench"

Anyone know what model/features are on this Powertec Ab bench? Seems to be an older model, as not listed on their web site (unless I am blind and missing it).

They still incorporate this design on their multi-station work bench levergym- or did as of 2010. I have the wb-ms-10 and have absolutely never used this station in a workout setting. I have played with it, and dislike it. The black tubing going horizontally has a hinge between the two pieces, you hold a yoke and bend forward, the hinge moves with you. The backrest has a piece of tubing where you load olympic plates. I can understand why it's no longer made as a freestanding unit. I wouldn't bother with this piece personally, but if it's like $10 you could try it and perhaps resell.

No you are not blind - that thing is old school. Over 7 years old at least.

Basically it is just a seated crunch. Personally I wouldn't waste my money or space, you can work abs really well with minimal equipment. Only buy it if you collect vintage gym equipment!

Thanks both of you. I just recently had hernia surgery and am looking for a controlled device to use in easing back into crunches/ab work (I have doctor permission). I figured a restricted/limited device like this might be useful ( to ensure I do not pull too much to one side/the other).

I always recommend going to a good physio for rehab issues. Finding a good physio can be tough. Try and get some references from sports/active people.
