    deadlift mats..these!

I saw a really good bargin for Eight 18 x 24 (3/4") mats for 59 bucks. I already ordered the magnum fitness 1/2" dura rolls. Then I was thinking of putting 4 mats each side, making the thickness 4.25" thick ontop of the dura rolls.

Anyone have any thoughts or used them before?

    ^This

4.25" is a big difference in the ROM of a deadlift, are you going to be standing on them yourself as well?

I've got 1/2" on each side of my bar to protect the floor and honestly, I don't really think I need it. It helps to load and unload the bar more than anything really.

Its to protect the floor and minimize the sound. I was deadlifting 375lbs last night and on the way down, it was loud. I'd say 2 feet on top of carpet
