Anyone use curcumin or turmeric for reducing inflammation? I injured my neck and am not keen on taking 3.2g of the recommended ibuprofen. Should i go bulk turmeric from my herb store and just make a drink from it or should i get a dedicated standardized curcumin product?
and before anyone tells me to see a doctor for this injury instead of relying on supplements i've already spent all of last night in the ER

I'm not sure what type of injury you got, but curcumin isn't going to help a sports type skeletal injury. Cissus is a far better option, it actually has analgesic effects.

Swanson Vitamins has a great economical product that was rated a top choice after meeting label claims and offering great value by Consumer Labs. I use that one which has some Bioperine for enhanced absorption and standardized for 95% curcuminoids.
I also use AOR's Inflammation Relief which is an overall great formula for that purpose along with AOR's CurcuPlus D Ultra which is perhaps the greatest Curcumin product in the world. It is pricey, but if you look into the Longvida form used it is impressive stuff for sure and as we all know, sometimes you get what you pay for.

I LOVE this stuff!
For an added health tip there is clinical research demonstrating real anti-cancer synergy with a combination of Curcumin and EGCG rich green tea. I recommend this to my family and anyone looking to prevent disease before it happens. Perhaps for most something like the Swanson product and a Swanson, NOW or AOR green tea ext. rich and standardized in EGCG would be a good choice. Green tea also demonstrates some anti-inflammatory benefits.
