is there a specific type of glue that is good for keeping the numbers/names on the back of the kit after they start to peel off?
i always wondered why football kits have cheap plastic glued on numbers and names on the back. i have two jerseys (Fabregas Arsenal away kit 07/08 season and Arshavin Arsenal home kit 09/10 season) but the numbers and letters are coming off. i iron them back on but they still start to peel off quite easily. is there some sort of glue i can buy that works well for keeping the numbers/names attached to the shirt?
in most sports the names and numbers are sewn onto the back but i guess football kits have the glued on plastic ones which fall off fairly quickly so people have to buy new jerseys more often...pretty slimy!
