Nothing wrong with doing curls, they work perfectly fine. A lot of top bodybuilders say that mostly compounds are all the workouts you need for your arms but 3/4ths the others say they work them out directly. I personally see very little to no change from doing heavy compounds w/o direct arm work at least once a week.

Each biceps (plural) is made up of 2 muscles .Biceps Brachii and the Brachialis. The "outer head" would be the Brachialis.

No, biceps and brachialis are two different muscles

OP focus on an elbow flexion movement and a forearm supination movement. Also curls are technically compound lifts since they are multi-joint exercises

Curls are not counted as a compound/multi joint movement.

Never heard this before, why in the world would you make a curl a muti-joint movement?

What do you mean? Of course you work your forearms, your front delts, your lower back, your quads and your traps... duh! Curls are a full body workout by themselves!

Even for this forum, this thread is remarkably retarded. And that, sports fans, is saying somethin'.

BBdotcom, the only bodybuilding site on the planet where you're advised to not work your arms in order to build your arms, and that 'bi' = 'one'.
    No brain, no gain.

"The fitness and nutrition world is a breeding ground for obsessive-compulsive behavior. The irony is that many of the things people worry about have no impact on results either way, and therefore aren't worth an ounce of concern."--Alan Aragon
