My second meal of the day, (12pm), is one scoop of ON Whey and water.
Then after my workout, (8-9pm), I have two scoops of ON Whey with pb and a little milk.
I just picked ON Casein and want to take one scoop with water around my (11pm) bedtime.
That's 96g of protein from shakes throughout the day. Seems like a lot...

Why would you want to supplement so much of your protein with powder? I use whey as an additive to my morning oatmeal or to help me hit my macors on some days - especially when bulking (whey, oats and natty pb). Most days I get 200 grams of protein in without supplementing - I use whey to "supplement" my diet to help me hit my macros.

I'm not sure there's a "right" answer...it's all personal preference. I have one protein shake every day as a quick breakfast on the drive to work. On gym days I usually have one after I work out, again, on the way to work. If I have a day off work, I usually don't have protein shakes because I have plenty of time to make real food. They're a matter of convenience for me, not a staple that I must have X number of each day.

Take 100% of your protein macro in shakes if you like, as long as you're supplementing enough micronutrients. Whole protein sources are great, and if you take in enough you reap many benefits, but there's nothing wrong with a good portion of protein coming from shakes.

It's just a matter of hitting your macros for the day. Though you'll have make up the other macros with higher fat/carb whole foods. They're especially handy when you're busy or on a cut.

I take about 4 protein shakes a day. I also eat 3 regular meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and i usually eat a banana or apple with each protein shake.
Its just too tough to fill in my macros in 3 healthy, low carb, low fat meals.“Israel in the Middle East is fighting on behalf of the free world,” declared Mosab Hassan Yousef, the outspoken son of Hamas leader Hassan Yousef.
