Nice benching bro. Those reverse band lockouts are sick.

thanks man. yeah, for a guy that could barely get a set of BWx8 (maybe) at the beginning of the year, i'm pretty stoked about getting reps with a plate
thanks josh. the reverse band and weighted dips have made a HUGE difference in my benching lock out strength. i still have a bit of mental barrier that i need to work on. i get the bar off my chest and about 1/3 up i just stop and hold it there like a dipsh*t. then i go like hell again and get to the top. it works but looks ugly
thanks. don't worry, you're slowly shaming me into it
thanks. unaware; throw me a bone
i already told you it ain't long but it sure is skinny
very nice. i'm assuming your hubby drug those in. the one on top looks like a football; pregnant hen?
i was lucky enough to get a round in before the rain this morning. started out hot on the front and then gave em all back on the back; putting went to sh*t in a hurry when the greens slowed from the rain

Ya know, I did not ask.
Okay on FS. Is your issue shoulder mobility? Not being able to keep your elbows high enough? Mine is that I can't stay up right. This vid helped me a lot. The last stretch I do all the time. I used to do downward dog until it pulled something in my heel/achilles that took like 6 months to go away. But it was probably my dumb arse for trying to push it too much. A vid would really be helpful of you, even if it was just the bar.

non-training notes-
there is an annual rodeo in our area that is just for kids 8 and under that our girls love to do. there were over 400 participants over friday and saturday in mid 90 degree weather. this year the little one did stick pony race and chicken chase and the older one did the goat ribbon tying/roping and pig scramble. pretty good time for all
my dynamic duo with matching boots per their mothers request
pretty excited 6 year old in the staging area
one worn out little baby
and some idaho rodeo hair. my wife was giving me the stink eye because she thought i was snapping pics of her angus, which i was. i guarantee this chic was driving the bitchin' split bumper camaro with a sixer of rainier tall boys on the passenger seat i saw in the parking lot. murica!225OHP/315B/420S/505D

Love the pics. That is one exhausted little girl. Is that the only time she stops smiling? Every pic you post she's cheesin harder than the last one haha.
Rodeo sloot looks good from behind, though I'd honestly rather see pics of the split bumper haha.Powerlifting Log - http://tinyurl.com/jshaw5

shame on you; did you not clean them for dinner?
bingo. well, that is one among many things. thanks for the vid; i will watch it when i get caught up
see it yet?
lol, yes there was some mutton action. carlee was registered for it and they grouped her in the 4th round but there was a kid in the 1st round that refused to let go after hitting the planet. he had a death grip and got drug for about 2 laps around the arena. tore his shirt, lost a boot and finally bounced his helmet off the fence before they caught him in a corner. this changed her mind lol225OHP/315B/420S/505D

thanks man and yes, she is either full on smiling, going a million miles an hour or sleeping. one of our neighbors calls her "two speed" cause that's all she has lol
I'd honestly rather see pics of the split bumper haha.
for your time:
34 ford coupe with zero chrome on the exterior, excluding the wheels. notice the side dump exhaust in front of the rear tires. hnnnnnng
mean looking front end with chrysler grille insert
suicide doors with shaved handles
custom interior shot
this one is in the shop this morning getting a little love before the show this weekend. i'll try to get some of the engine compartment once it cools off and they open it up. you can hear this thing start up at any spot inside the dealership; so much boner225OHP/315B/420S/505D

Hubs had them cleaned and ready for the pan when I got home with the kids from the park. I was in charge of milking the cow, skimming the cream and turning it into butter for the pan!
So Shoulder flexibility. When I first wanted to learn the Oly lifts, Joel would not teach me to clean because I could not get my elbows above about my belly button. He wanted them way higher. So I spent MONTHS, I mean MONTHS, walking around doing the exercises in the first 30-40 sec of this vid.
I want you to know this kills my ego to post this. But we all must start somewhere right. I would not watch the rest of it.
And your daughter is a smart girl on bailing out of the mutton racing after seeing that! Kids. Yours are soooo cute though. Proud daddy for sure.
You and the car pictures. I swear every time you post car piccies I think of that George Strait song, "I Got a Car." Yes, I am from Texas so you can crack on me.Last edited by jjeane; 08-06-2014 at 10:49 AM.

It isn't the one I thought it was. There is one vid I have from a long time ago where Danny, the gym owner was having a conversation with another guy about cardio in the shower and how it was too early for that chit. I have another one where he is complaining about the massage lady not wanting to massage his glutes and he gets quite interesting about how is not asking for.... well I will let you fill in the blanks. I sure miss him. I found one, I didn't realize it at the time. but he basically did a depth check on my squats and when he walked back into view he shook his head, like not low enough. Shame on me. But I am getting better on ATG now. Too bad he isn't still alive and I could redeem myself.
