I've been eating chicken of the sea chunk light tuna (7oz can) 5x/week for 2 years now and I can't say I've noticed anything detrimental to my health. Will report back in another two years.

By the way, in a recent review of canned tuna (in Nevada) researchers found that more than half of all canned tuna examined was above the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (U.S. EPA) safety level for human consumption (0.5 ppm), and 5% of the tuna exceeded the action level established by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) (1.0 ppm). For fish, find those that are lower on the food chain. They have less time to accumulate mercury and other toxins. Anchovies, smelt and such. As you move up the carnivorous fish chain it becomes worse. So tuna, grouper, shark will end up having a lot of mercury build up.

So yea, not all fish are deadly, just have to be careful.

Also, Salmon are safe. I think it's because of their extremely fast life cycle but I'm not entirely certain on that.
