    Nuts/Mixed Nuts

What brand of nuts offer the best nutritional value? When I think of fats in a diet nuts comes to mind. Which nuts do you guys purchase? I woudn't think Planters nuts are the healthiest out of them all. But idk?
BTW, this does sound funny as many times as I said nuts haha.

I like to buy bulk, not any brand... Natural or raw... Meaning not salted or roasted. Anything... Peanuts, almonds, chashews, hazelnuts, walnuts, Brazilian nuts, pictashios, macadamias, also like pumpkin and sunflower seeds, flex seeds, hemp seeds....

Although nuts are delicious and healthy, they are terrible for dieting (at least if you have hunger problems like I do...). They are extremely calorie dense and can be annoying for some people to count.

But with that said, I 2nd what anna said.

Where do you get them at? The only ones I see are ones that are either roasted or salted. I shop at Walmart btw.

I go to trader Joe's and get the omega mix, and I get the bag that has individual servings so I know how much I'm eating. Buy the way it has some cranberrys in it, other than that its just nuts. http://www.fitbit.com/foods/Omega+Tr...+packs+/281332

You can buy moderately large bags of raw plain almonds in baking sections.

If you are buying a "brand" such as planters, you are doing it wrong.

I have never bought groceries at Wal Mart, but where I shop sells the raw/bulk nuts in the produce section. If you are buying Planters, that probably is in the section with the chips/snacks. Try looking near the produce.

Maybe someone who shops at Wal Mart can help you.

you still want fat on a cut so no nuts dont need to be avoided...

I buy whatever looks good OP. I generally eat almonds because they are my fav. kind, especially since they have them in amazing flavors. Got some vanilla/carmel mix the other day=delicious. Just look macros and decide what best fits into your plan. IE do they have much added sugar, are u trying to keep sodium relatively low, etc.
