    Tricep pain right above elbow

When I do isolations for my left arm triceps, I get a pain in my tricep at the part where it meets the elbow.

I only get it in this place on my left arm, nowhere else on my triceps or right arm. It hurts when I straighten my left arm or when I'm doing a tricep exercise. It's a sharp pain and the area of the pain is the size of a thumb.

Any idea what this is and how I can solve this?

I have tried all sorts of tricep isolation exercises but it keeps coming back. If I do a bench exercises it doesn't hrut at all though.

My 1st guess is you do skull crushers? If you do, IMO...Stop.

Try to lessen your ROM when isolating the tri's you might be going too far

You also don't have to specifically isolate the triceps, there is loads of exercises that work your tri's but don't put so much stress on them (punch bags, bench, dips, press ups - To name a few)

sounds like it could be tricep tendonitis, easy off if it continues hurting or you could find yourself in some serious trouble down the road.
