    Hamstring pull, or something more?

Hey guys, I was playing basketball little over a month ago when I thought I pulled my hamstring playing bball. It was a quick and very sharp pain. Every step I took that day felt like a knife was in my leg. I took off leg work and any kind or running for 2 weeks. For a week and a half of that time, I had little to no pain. Finally I went to play bball after 2 and a half weeks (stretched real good) and had same feel in same leg (after a few minutes of running). So same thing as before, still didnt do legs (over a month now) and didn't run until it felt good. Came back today to try and run, and it pulled again. Could it be something more and I need to go see a doctor? Or is it just not fully healed?

you might have a small tear. if you have been taking it easy for a month now, probably time to see the doc. on the other hand, hamstring pulls can be a pain in the butt to rehab. sometimes seems any little thing will re aggravate. i'd see a doc at this point.
