    but due to my weight cut, i was able to erase the standing record of 300 for my body weight.

    Quick question, was at the gym yesterday with a buddy and noticed a bizarre discrepancy. We went to leg press and I'm kinda of puzzled how he blows me outta the water on this when I blow him outta the water on SQ/DL. 405/510 285/395 (Me/Him respectively) But leg press? 604/874 x8

    either his ROM sucks(which probably isnt it or you wouldnt need to ask this)

    or his quads are stronger than yours(most likely) the reason your squat and dead is better is because you have a stronger core and posterior chain(no homo)

    his is probably a weakness which is why compared to you his squat sucks.
    You would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.

    It's not indication of a weakness, the guy probably does leg press a shtload compared to OP.

    Id say this I have seen umpteen guys with skinny legs repping **** loads of weight on the leg press yet to see a guy with skinny legs squat heavy to depth.

    i was not meaning weakness as in he had shietty weak quads lol just that his friend had stronger ones. CuriousGM is probably not a stranger to the leg press himself.

    @CuriousGM, i did think of a different reason after posting that though. both of your techniques could be different. asin different stances and foot height. bu honestly i would rather have a 300lb squat and a 400 pound leg press than have a 200 pound squat with an 800 pound leg press.

    nice job. I hit 341 on saturday, but full olympic squat style. I wonder if could do more lowbar... (probably not anymore)

    leg press means nothing. my max squat is 365, but i can hit over 600lbs on the leg press for sets of 10 right after maxing out on squats. plus if it's the 45 degree sled, you aren't evening doing all of the weight that's actually on the sled. i think it's something like 70-75% of the actual weight.

    And I wish I knew! Fcuking toolbag would have gotten the beating of a lifetime! I took it in the gym to record squats and when I put it in my locker to hit the showers (and yes, I had a lock on it) and when I came back, my locker was open and the flip was gone. Fortunately for me I didn't have my iPhone w/ me.

    Just sad that people have no heart nowadays...I had vids on there from the kids past Christmas, along with other misc vids that has my kids on it.
