keys fitness kf-1860

I maybe want to had a lat pulldown to my home gym but all the stack 200 pounds lat pulldowns used near from where I live sells for 750$ - 900$. I have someone near from here that sells a home gym keys fitness kf-1860 for 200$ with a 200pounds stack included. I think this is a good deal, i wont use the other movements on it only the low row and the lat pulldown movements but i dont know if this is as good for these movements as a stand alone lat pulldown? What do you think. I cant find any review on this machine. Anyone has one? Should i jump on it or let it go?

For what you're wanting, that would be a great deal. The only thing is, if you're serious about your training, a 200# stack can be outgrown fairly quickly. I have a Tuff Stuff pulldown that I have added an adapter to for additional weight. The shroud on that Keys, would prevent that.

I agree with pumping, that's a nice piece of equipment for that price. The stack is limiting, but with the other equipment you have, you'll really be able to use this for accessory stuff and to finish up after using your bigger moves. I wouldn't be afraid of that if its what you're looking for.

On the quality...I haven't seen it, but I have seen a lot of Key's stuff and its all been very nice. I've always thought their stuff reminded me of Lemar or Tuffstuff for some reason. It just looks nice and durable.

Thanks guys. Thats what i was thinking. And for the 200 pounds stack, maybe there is a way to had more! I will buy it and check it out! If it dont work i will sell it back i'm sure it will be easy to sell! Thanks to both of you

One of the big problems with adding to the stack (which usually can be done) is that by making the stack tall it causes the pull length to become shorter and doesn't work well on some exercises. Don't ask me how I know this. On the good side, if you can get that unit for $200, then you can probably sell it at a later date with out much loss while moving onto free weights.
