Scivation Xtend watermelon flavor overrated?

Everyone says that watermelon xtend tastes sooooo good, so i went ahead and bought a tub. i tasted it, and at first it has this weird sour taste to it. the aftertaste is really good like a watermelon jolly rancher, but i just can't get over that weird sour first taste. idk if it's just my tast buds or if it's just a bad tub. the sour first taste is really similar to the green mag, purp wrath, and white flood samples that i had. they all had the same sour first blast to it. again idk if i just have weird taste buds or if i'm just not mixing it good. any suggestions on how you guys get it to taste so good?

agreed, watermelon Xtend is overrated , I enjoyed the lemon flavor more.

It's a stronger flavor but I like it. If it's too strong try XF Ice, the watermelon is a little lighter.

It is our #1 seller hence the popular feedback. If you do not like the sweeter flavors due to how it is flavored I would suggest Grape or Apple which are more refreshing and not as tart. Some people love the sweetness and some people need to accommodate the amount of water per amount of scoops to find the "Sweet Spot". I would try 8-12oz per scoop and find a tolernace that suits your taste buds. It will differ for everyone, but I know some people that do 4 scoops in 10-12oz of water, and some need 1L to tolerate the flavor

Xtend is rated so high because well it works! I use it intra-work out with fabulous results. I'm trying Purple Waarth by Controlled Labs to see if it compares. Might even switch to fruit punch Intrabolic. A lot of my followers on my log use Blue Raspberry Xtend and enjoy it

I liked the lemonade alot, but watermelon is still my favorite. Apple is the only one I can taste the bitterness from the BCAA's in, not that apple is bad, just not as good as the others.

I have watermelon and I love it because its a stronger flavor.

this just means you can use more water and have more to drink during your workouts.

For example, I find the blue raspberry to be quite bitter and is my least favourite flavour of the 4 I have tried (Watermelon, Grape, Apple, Blue Raspberry), where as, Blue Raspberry may be somebody elses favourite. Maybe get another flavour and mix half and half, you can make some great combo's from my experience

Watermelon + Orange, Watermelon + Grape both are very good believe it or not.

since xtend is priced EXACTLY the same as Dymatize recoup, and recoup has Ajipure certified aminos, I don't get why you're even buying xtend. thats just me

Love all their flavours really except Green Apple (not bad but got sick of it quick) and Blue Raz (too sweet).
The others are all gold imo
