Strong workouts, solid diet (oats & tuna? ), and looking swole in the update pic.
Have not heard of gelatin for tendonitis, I take glucosamine chondroitin for my elbows, helps.

June 1st-Wednesday-training and nutrition log
Sorry about the wait everyone!
Have you ever had days where it just goes by so quick?
You go to bed at night; blink your eyes and its already morning and then it seems you start your day wondering where or how the time passed by so quick.
You go to work and youre consumed with trying to get work done and trying not to stress about deadlines and such.
This is how my days have felt....
I guarantee you that after I write this, Ill go to bed and then everything repeats itself like that movie "GroundHogs Day" with Bill Murray
Yesterday (June 1st), I got up in the morning and did 30 minutes of cardio prior to going to work.
Work was hectic as usual and I didnt get off until almost 7:00 PM.
I was able to warm-up by walking on the treadmill and trained back:
Hammer Strength lat pull down machines :
1st set: 90 X 30 reps (warm up)
2nd set: 180 X 15 reps
3rd set: 180 X 10 reps
4th set: 180 X 10 reps
5th set: 90 X 15 reps
Stiff arm cable push downs:
1st set: whole stack X 10 reps
2nd set: whole stack X 12 reps
3rd set: 1/2 stack until failure
Hammer strength lat pull down machine that worked a different angle of your upper back:
1st set: 225 X 10 reps
2nd set: 225 X 10 reps
3rd set: 225 X 10 reps
Regular Lat pulldowns (underhand grip)
4 sets/half stack/til failure for each set
Cable rows:
4 sets/half stack/til failure for each set
**I contemplated training biceps but my amrs were so pumped and exhausted from training back that I decided to not do arms...as I am typing this right now, my arms still feels pumped and sore. Also my back is sore.

There was an offering for 2 free samples and I got hooked!
I loved the nutrition and taste of these bars.
Im hoping that bodybuilding.com would sell them one day but they dont as of yet...
So for the time being..I get Quest Bars from a l l s t a r h e a l t h website
The bars can get addicting though...they are my treat and keeps me sane

I've never tried a Quest bar. Generally I don't like any bars, even regular old granola bars.
Scratch that. I like them, they just don't like me.Simp's Back: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165133671&page=1

The past week seemed to have went by like a blur!
Friday -June 3rd--ended up doing cardio
Saturday- June 4th... Never got a chance to workout because I had to work at an air show serving italian sausages and cheesy fries! I actually volunteered so our organization can earn some money to pay for furure events and such.
Food was free for those working in our booth. The temptation was so great and I ended up eating 2 Italian Sausage dogs that had peppers/oinion and marinara sauce. I also ate a large order of cheesy fries..I did feel guilty though.
Sunday- June 5th...ended up helping a friend move the whole day and he treated me to Burger King and McDonald's so my diet was not good either on this day
My diet was good today though:
Preworkout (twice-morning and night): pre-workout
Meal 1: 12 oz fish (tilapia/flounder)/1/2 cup green beans with Multi, Glucosamaine, celadrin, probiotic, MSM, fish oil, maca
Meal 2: Humapro, Vitamin C, maca, fish oil
Meal 3: Vitamin C, Maca, fish oil, HumaPro.
Meal 4: HumaPro, fish oil, vitamin C, maca
Meal 5: HumaPro, fish oil, vitamin C, maca
Meal 6: 10 oz salmon with 1/2 green beans
Meal 7: Humapro, vitamin C, probiotic, MSM, fish oil, maca, multi-vitamin, 4 caps TestX6
Training:
Got up in the morning and did 30 minutes cardio and abs
Worked chest and triceps today.
Got out of work about 7:15 PM
I just did sets of flat bench presses and triceps pushdowns
10 sets bench press/varied the weights from 135-225 pounds and near failure for every set.
Triceps: 8 sets/varied weight/failure for every set
I think I had a pretty good workout! My chest feels pumped still and my triceps are sore.
Only downside is, I took a pre*workout a little late earlier before getting out of work... Im fully awake and not tired.
But I need to force myself to go to sleep because I have work at 7:30 AM in the morning.
Im planning to do cardio in the morning too...
Well I got to force myself to sleep. Going to try hard
Note: Bought a bottle of No Beta...should arrive this Thursday

I love Humapro!
I used to be a big whey drinker ..I mean I loved whey shakes...Muscle Milk, Syntha 6, Dymatize, ect...only problem was it was all causing havoc on my stomach..had to find a better alternative and thats why I started using humapro...I replace what I would have drank as shakes with Humapro and no longer have stomach bloats or diarrhea...
Well..I found that if I eat too much fish, it wreaks havoc on my stomach as well so I am going to limit my fish intake...Ill eat more chicken.
I never have stomach issues with Humapro, steak, hamburgers, or chicken

June 11, 2011-Saturday log
55 Days left!!
Thank God for a real day off today!
What I am trying to say as I write this is it is Sunday and I dont have to go to work tomorrow...I mean today
When I went to the gym after getting a few things done at work I was really motivated!!
I mixed up preworkout...walked down the corriders and dropped my shaker cup. The shaker bottle broke and all the contents leaked out.
This was pretty much the only downside...couldnt enjoy any of my preworkout to give me the edge!!
Legs:
Squats:
1st set: 135 x 20 reps (warm up)
2nd set: 225 x 10
3rd set: 225 x 10
4th set: 315x 2 reps
**didnt want to chance it to much...my right knee's pain is dwindling down really well which means I am healing...dont want to get injured
Leg extensions: 4 sets/ varied weights til failure
Leg curls: 4 sets/ varied weights til failure
**seated calf machine: 4 sets/ varied weights til failure
Deit protocol is still the same as it was on my days when I dont cheat...
Im going to eat less fish and Ill be eating more chicken since the fish I have been eating these past few weeks has really been upsetting my stomach...
I took a picture today...i see a few good changes ...just need to get more cuts and more abs showing
Im motivated!

Reminds me of past heartbreaks and sadness....
"I walk this road alone...No thanks to you..."
Its great workout music nevertheless....
If you wondered what type of music I listren to while Im working out or doing cardio...this is the type of music I love to listen to...

June 15th log
Sorry about the wait everyone...
Im sorry about the wait regarding posting on my log and others on here.
I have a problem person I supervise...
Well, I gave him paperwork late Monday (June 13th) because he failed to meet the standards time and time again.
His excuse to me and another sergeant who was the mediator was that my negativity caused him not to want to make standards. He said that he was "tired" of me "hounding" him about making standards and how I warned him management was watching..he said it created a paraniod environment for him which was counter productive (according to him).
He doesnt seem to understand that when you are part of the military and are told to do something, you have to do it. He is the only person well there are two who fall below standards...everyone one else in the office (over 20 personnel meet and exceed the standard).
Well he got a higher ranking person after my little meeting in there and pretty much complained about me...he told my senior sergeant that I dont work and post on bodybuilding.com. (Now I hope you guys see why I dont post that much anymore during the day on duty hours)
He pretty much took the focus off himself and on me. I had to pretty much place the focus back on him and let him know that we are not in the office speaking to higher management because of me but we are in there because he failed to meet the standards.
He is pretty much writing a rebuttal that is due tomorrow (Thursday)...I suspect that I am going to be used as the scapegoat yet again as the reason why his work standards are not so great....
The meeting on Monday afternoon lasted for 2 hours (and this is after regular duty hours were over.)
It pretty much drained me mentally and physically...this is styress I do not want or need right now
Monday-I went to the gym int he morning and did 45 minutes of cardio. I still went to the gym afterwards and worked chest and triceps ...got to the gym past 7:30 PM
Tuesday-had deadlines for performance reports and letters of evaluations. I was not able to make it to the gym because I had to work on these during off duty time
Today:
I participated in in a 3 mile run in the morning. I did not work out after work today at all. Had a lot of work to do.
The run I did earlier today literally killed me...it was hard. ANd my legs still feel sore
We havent ran outside for over a year! But today was such a nioce morning that we did.
I ended up being the last one to finish!
I walked over half the distance because my shins (compartment syndrome) started to act up and my shin region was extremely puffed up but I did the best I could ...
I think I was the only 250 plus pound guy in our sqaudron that ran...everyone else are below 190 pounds
I do need to lose this weight though....I could easily do the pushups and sit ups but what is going to hurt me on my PT test is my waist measurement (anything above 39 inches is an automatic failure) and the 1.5 mile run...I have to run it in less than 13 minutes in order to pass....
I think my shin splints is due to my weight so the more weight I lose the easier running will be for me
I am really stressed about this.
My PT test is tentively scheduled for July 14th...I need to be prepared so I am going to try to get up early from now on and accomplish early morning cardio for an hour or more...its a necessary evil but I have to do this.
Preworkout drink
Nighttime: 4 caps TestX6
Throughout the day and night: drank a gallon of water with Chain'd Out mixed in.
Meal 1: Humapro, Vitamin C, maca, fish oil
Meal 2: 12 oz chicken breast/1/2 cup green beans with Multi, Glucosamaine, celadrin, probiotic, MSM, fish oil, maca
Meal 3: Spaghetti and meatballs/breadsticks/soup....went to Olive Garden for a luncheon for someoen I supervise because she is leaving and getting stationed to another Air Force Base
Meal 4: Humapro, Vitamin C, maca, fish oil
Meal 5: HumaPro, fish oil, vitamin C, maca
Meal 6: HumaPro, vitamin C, maca
Meal 7: 4 Italian sausage hotdogs w/probiotic, MSM, maca, multi-vitamin
**Felt like my deit was already ruined due to the luncheon I attended to earlier...I ate bad at the Olive Garden
I just have to bounce back...

I hate to read about all of the work drama. It's such a pain when work can't just be work and has to be Days of Our Lives, too.
