After another thread I made, it seems a few people have met their significant other at the gym and I am curious how many have met this way and who made the first move to take things outside of the gym?

I met my husband at college, I was his math tutor.
He's in the army, but when he gets home, we'll be going to the gym together. I can't wait!~Beth

Met my wife at the gym 24 years ago. Moved in together after 2 weeks, married after 3 months and still together. We started training together again about a year ago. It makes it nice to have someone to share the same lifestyle.

met my hubs in the gym i was working in a the time. he was a frequent patron, and we chatted now and again, and one day he asked me to a movie
we moved in together after a couple months, and got married a year after that. been married just over 2 years! as someone else mentioned, i feel super lucky to have someone to share this kind of lifestyle with.

Haha thanks! Nope, we never have. I hate working out with him (or anyone). We have always used our home gym (lived together after 3 months) and took turns using it due to work schedules/space issues. my husband and i first saw each other at the gym. checked each other out for weeks. i was NOT interested in a relationship and had no intention of approaching him. (just drooling over his legs) plus, we were in Iraq...
but he and some friends were playing around here on bb.com and he actually stumbled across my profile. he sent me a few e-mails about how much running i was doing at the time. he did not have a profile picture up, so i didn't know he was the hottie from the gym! until one day i skipped the gym and went to the computer lab. just as i was checking my messages here, he sat down next to me and finally got the courage to talk to me! a month after i got home from iraq, i packed up all of my belongings and moved halfway across the country to be with him!! (i did have a few *omg what am i doing?!?* moments during the drive) but it has worked out amazingly.
we will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary this 4th of July and we have a beautiful amazing baby girl. we don't work out together, but we support each other and talk about our workouts over grilled chicken, asparagus and sweet potatoes
I'm gonna be one to watch in 2012. Just wait and see.

Met my boyfriend in the gym, he was to shy to say anything so i would just say a comment or two when I would see him there. Then he finally got the nerve to say hi to me when he saw me in the math lab lol

I met my husband at the gym. He actually proposed to me at the gym as well. We still workout together almost everyday. I love having a permanent workout partner. Well right now, he is actually more like my trainer!
