There is no reason to believe that existence of divine origin and existence of natural origin must be demonstrably different.

Given this, it is not even possible to propose science that could answer the question, let alone actually perform the experiment.


I am not even an atheist and I must concede that there will never be anything that constitutes proof.

The convenient nature of the laws that govern everything is circumstantial at best and about as good as it gets.

There is elegance in the laws of physics that defies a chaotic universe model. That's enough anecdotal evidence for me. I'm not worried about convincing others because for a great many of them, no amount of anecdotal evidence will ever be enough.

For whatever reason, God wants us to decide for ourselves whether or not to believe and the question is beyond the scope of the scientific method anyway, so the point is moot.

Image a concrete parking lot, now imagine a crack in said parking lot, now imagine a dandelion growing in said crack on said concrete parking lot. What's more likely, that the crack the dandelion is growing in was made specifically for that dandelion, or that the crack is simply the only place that dandelion could possibly grow within that parking lot? Also, you heard wrong, it's like people who say that if we were 1 mile closer to the sun we'd burn, but if we were 1 mile further we'd freeze, never mind that we travel hundreds of thousands of miles closer and farther to the sun every year.

All I need is simple proof to believe god exists. Just like I won't believe that there's a new McDonald's down the street until I see it myself. What's proof, how about god just shows up, that'd be proof.

That is some of the dumbest shyt I have heard in a while. Why the hell would anyone try to ignore a god they know to be true, that's like saying you'll ignore a cop who pulls you over. Most people simply don't believe in god, even Christians, if they did, they would be less hypocritical.

I would be happy enough with a modern day prophet with historical biblical prophet powers... Assuming that prophet came in and cleared up some inconsistencies I could go for it.

I find it entirely possible some advanced being/species may be responsible for my existence. I also find zero ability to differentiate likelihoods of different creation mythos. As such I just hold a static disbelief until such time sufficient evidence is presented to shift the probability in a specific deities existence.

Stating "It is just so complex that I don't believe it could have happened on its own, but here is an all powerful being that always existed/developed on its own that did it" just doesn't fly.

If there is a god the only authority are the laws of physics and no one gets to break them, its not even a choice.

If you are talking about man made laws based on conflicting ancient stores mistranslated and changed to fit political agendas then you are talking about something else entirely and your personal feelings on the matter are far more determined by the place and date of your birth than any objective truth.
