    Anyone here had to use their insurance?

    has anyone here actually had to use their liability insurance? just curious....I just paid for this years premium again...good thing its a writeoff.

    Hopefully jumping in will get someone else to comment, but personally no. If something were to happen though, you gotta have it. You know that already. A negligence lawsuit would ruin most folks financially. They'd go after all your assets...if you have some.

    I think just to go to court for an insurance company costs them like $15,000 to defend someone, but its worth the premium if it ever happens.

    I came damn close but got very lucky (he guy was a known scam artist and witness-confirmed attempted to intentionally hurt himself during a session). Without insurance, I could've been financially crippled to this day had I not been so lucky.

    I use mine to cover my massage therapy biz too, had a lady go take a hot shower after I worked her and her muscles seized up. Told her not to do that. She said she was going to sue but she never did.
