Lets start a list of balanced macro foods

Lets start a list of well balanced macro foods. I need ideas as I'm sure others do once a particular macro has been reached, and others need catching up.

For me, a well balanced macro food if you've met your carbs for the day is a large egg X any number.

    Macros for one Lg egg:
    (cal - 70, P - 6, F - 5, carb - 0)

    Also almonds for fat:
    1/2 cup
    (cal - 408, P - 15, F - 35, carb - 35)

Pretty basic and obvious ones, but lets see what others eat for balance.

I pretty much just worry about higher protein foods and higher fat foods, and eat/mix as needed.

bal·ance (noun) \ˈba-lən(t)s\ Equality or proportion

Eggs are not balanced, they have almost no carbs. Nuts are not balanced either, the fat content is much higher than the protein & carbs.

I don't follow what macros you're looking to be "balanced."

Are you looking for foods that are only balanced in protein and fat?
I think he failed on his thread title.

I believe what he meant was, if you have not reached a certain macro for the day, these foods will help you reach that goal.

Unfortunately, there are much better options than eggs or nuts.

Por ejemplo: Pasta for carbs, lean meat for protein, olive oil for fat.

I could be wrong but I really don't know wtf is going on in here.

A well balanced food for a lean 200 lb guy that's bulking would not be well balancedfor someone on a PSMF.

Not sure why you'd need a thread for that.

There are a billion web sites out there that list the most common sources of PROTEIN, FAT, and CARBS.

Sorry but that img is incorrect.

According to Weight Watchers, the apple should be lighter than the candies. Apples are zero points, which basically equates to zero calories.

You're looking for a list of foods that contain balanced macronutrients (for whatever odd reason) and, as an example of such, you list two foods that are not at all balanced in terms of macronutrient composition.

This is more of the traditional "balanced" definition...

I have a bowl of chili over noodles almost every day. Great source of all three macros. Its just 1lb ground beef with 1 can of diced tomatoes, 1 can of kidney beans, and a chili spice mix. I'll usually make three meals out of it. 1/3 of a recipe plus 1/8 a box of noodles comes out to:

    584 cals/13.6g fat/75.6g carbs/43.3g protein

If you take the noodles out and just eat the chili, it's...

    413 cals/12.5g fat/36.6g carbs/37.6g protein

    Either way, it's goddamned delicious.
    My guilty pleasure: excessive cardio.

Progress towards the 1000 lb club: 945/1000
Bulking until I hit 1000. I don't care if it takes a 40 pound weight gain. No more pussyfooting around.

I balance my macros on my plate. Carbs at 5, Veggies at 7, Protein at 12 (on the plate, that is). Then I drizzle Fat across the top. I had a perfect example, but can't find it...
Short term Goal: To cut back before bulking like a demon.
Mid term Goal: To find myself.
Long term Goal: To get what's mine.

67 lbs in 9 years and still counting... (started at 100lbs)

It's a hater's job to hate. So let them hate...
