I don't want my tax dollars going into cancelling the gun registry that's already paid for.
I don't want my tax dollars to be funding the many overpaid government employees who do nothing and get insane amount of vacation time.
All three parties have horrible financial outlooks... all BIG deficits... ALL THREE HAVE HUGE DEFICITS. Conservatives plan on $50 billion deficit this year alone... that ain't good. Sorry brah.

loled.
Why don't you also complain about genetic inequality while your at it. Complain about how OP's got way better genetics than you. He was also born with these genetics, as much as his social position.
Loled, if you can't see the connection between welfare programs keeping poor people poor.
Tell me, are you seeking equality of results or equality of opportunitiy?

That's if you get into a pharmacy program in Canada.
You might want to ask your dad for a loan so you can study in America where anyone can get a degree from a non ivy leaguer at triple the cost of your subsidized Canadian university tuition. Do you enjoy your "socialist" Canadian post secondary schooling rates Op?

and rofl to anyone who's stupid enough to vote Conservative. You're not voting conservative, you're voting for harper.
Brb we're more fiscally responsible, but spending 50 billion on planes
brb we spent 1.2 billion on g20 summit + 50 million for tony clements riding + 300,000 for an 'outdoor toilet'.
brb spending billions more on superjails, instead of youth anti-crimeprograms
brb not fiscally conservative at all except for the fact that we're all white and upper middle class/upper class

rofl let it go brah. so many miscers, especially republicans have their political beliefs so ingrained that they do even realize their party only cares about giving tax cuts on the rich so that the middle/lower class can feed on whatever crumbs that come out of that.
Canada was voted as having the most stable/sound banking systems in the world (The Economist), and now the Liberal who created that regulated system(Paul Martin) is being begged by everyone around the world to come and create a similar system there.

Okay let's at least get things straight. I just saw some ******* interviewed on tv who actually thought the NDP was the best economic choice. We need to clear up some things.
-The Conservatives will limit government spending, which will decrease taxes in the long run. Harper's first budget actually had no deficit, but it got shot down by the other parties.
-The NDP will raise taxes, or at the very least increase government spending to such a degree that a tax raise will soon be required.
-The Conservatives are by far the best choice for getting a stronger economy for everyone. Wealth split unequally among the population.
-The NDP are by the far the best choice for spreading the wealth around to everyone. Poverty split equally among the population.
If you're going to vote NDP, at least understand what you're doing. You're voting to impair the economy and lower the overall standard of living and wealth of the country in order to increase the standard of living for the very bottom of the country.
If you understand this and still want to vote NDP, that's fine. It's your choice to make an informed decision and you can do so however you want. Although I disagree with this, at least these NDP voters understand what they're voting for.
But if you're voting NDP under the illusions that they aren't a huge bottleneck on the economy, and you're just doing it because you hate Harper or are sick of the liberals and think it can't get much worse than it is... I know a Nigerian prince who recently inherited a large sum of money who needs your help receiving his inheritance...

Dude, I can't even tell you how disrespectful this is. I find often, not necessarily directed at you, when people say this they are merely rationalizing their failures. Personally, I have worked my ass off over 8 years of university to get where I am (3.97 GPA) while being financially independent since age 17. I now make more than twice both my parents combined.
Hell, even my parents who stood to benefit from platforms like the NDP, even voted for the old Reform party because it was not who can give you the most handouts, it is who is right. They instilled that attitude in me that you should work hard to be successful and not rely upon others and it in no doubt contributed to my success.
Look, I am not a crazy fanatical conservative. I believe in good student loan programs, public healthcare and investment in some social services, but when liberals try to insinuate that conservatives merely want to protect what has been given to them, not earned, it is as outrageous as the extreme conservative who think all homeless are alike and deserve to be in their situation. The difficulty is that public policy always paints people with a broad brush, and I will always air on the side of personal responsibility.
For example, do you believe the credit card companies are responsible for numerous personal bankruptcies, or just careless, irresponsible, undisciplined spending giving into personal wants?
