Exclamation Serious Mass Vs. Whey Protein.

Sorry for Asking quite pity questions, Im a Beginner.... But I want to know many ideas and opinion from you guys... According to Lee Labrada 12 Week Program, It must be Whey. What would be the Effect if that whey would be replaced by Serious mass? Thank You.

Serious mass is a weight gainer, which means it's supposed to help you during a bulking phase. I've never taken a weight gainer but from what the label says it seems like it's something you take instead of an actual meal during the day rather than post workout. It has a lot of carbs in it and a very good amount of protein also.

Whey protein in the other hand, is a post workout product, take it within 30 minutes of finishing your workout and it'll help you build lean muscle.

It all depends on what your goals are, if you are trying to gain a good amount of weight and want to use supps for that, the buy some serious mass and drink it 1-2 times a day, i would say first thing in the morning and if you want to take it twice a day, have a light lunch and drink a serious mass shake during the afternoon. I would still buy whey for post workout though

I actually just got back from a supplement shop here in Hong Kong. I usually buy Mass XXX but they don't have any over here. After checking just about every supplement in the shop, I walked away with Serious Mass. I never before realized how few carbs Whey has (5g) and have been asking myself why people even bother taking it (even if you extrapolate Whey's serving size out to SM's you only wind up with a laughable 55g of carbs - and then you'd be consuming 300g protein which is extremely unhealthy). Serious Mass on the other hand has just about the most carbs out of any supplement I've come across (almost 300g with low fat milk). Even if SM's serving size is too big for you (334g) and you want to half it, you still get 145g carbs and 37g protein which is hands down better than Whey's 5g carbs and 30g protein. Serious Mass all the way. I don't understand why anyone would pick Whey over it.

That's because whey protein is supposed to be taken immediately after working out so your food needs to be as simple as possible so your body can digest it fast enough. Serious mass is a meal replacer, and whey protein is a post workout supp, that's it

It depends of what body type you are. Also what are your goals?

Serious mass is something like a meal replacement. Like during tea time, when you are hungry but too busy to find food, take a shake of serious mass.

Creatine also helps you in building muscle size so is worth investing in it. Just a side-note for creatine, cause it absorb water as muscle has water in it, you will need to keep on hydrate yourself.

Overall : It overall depends on what you are looking for, but so long i would never tried to do both serious mass + creatine. Cause imagine the amount that you are taking, it feels too sick. Stick with normal food will be a better choice.
