If you read up about this officer, he has been on the police force for 5 and a half years and has been involved in TWO fatal shootings.

Most cops go their entire career without even discharging their firearm, and in half a decade this cop has killed two people.


There is a growing attitude among law enforcement in which they believe they have total control and power over every citizen, when in reality it is the opposite.

Law enforcement works for the public. It is the public that pays their salary. We pay them to "serve and protect" us, yet it is becoming more common for them to harass and abuse us.

A major problem is a lot of Americans hold the attitude that the police are always right.
When many of these videos such as this are posted on this forum, many members blame the victim for "provoking" the officer when they were simply asserting their Constitutional rights. We have these rights for a reason, and the fact that asserting them seems to ANGER many law enforcement officers these days is truly chilling.

if the cameraman didn't lie and said he didn't live there the cop would'nt of roughed him up. if you're trasspassing and filming a cop that's illegal. listen to the 1st part....

fukc no, i've yet to see any real police action but am moving downtown next year and plan on carrying my little camera in my back pocket. the police WORK FOR ME and if I want to videotape one of MY EMPLOYEES doing something I don't think they should I'm danm well within my right to do so. I can't interfere with their actual work, but obviously in this situation the man was not interfering with any work the police officer was doing (my main complaint about these videos is the person is always way too close and being an ass... this guy was doing neither).

No. Not at all. Police have no expectations of privacy when in public.

Any member of the public is free to video tape a police officers actions in public as long as they are not interfering in an investigation.
