I found their stall mats to be much cheaper than Tractor Supply Co. For 13x 13, it's only $190. Has anyone used them before? Are they good mats for a gym? I have carpet, so they will be lying on top of it.
I can't post the links since i have less than 30 posts.

Those are nothing like the mats from tractor suply. It is polypropylene and only a 1/4" thick not 3/4 inches of solid rubber. THey might be a good stall liner but they aren't going to be the impact proof surface we want in our gym.
Fortunatly TSC stall mats would cover 12x12 for only about $240 and there would be no shipping.[]---[] Equipment Crew Member No. 11

If this 13'x13' mat was comparable to the tractor supply mats I would throw shards of glass on my gym floor and work on that surface before I'd try to man handle that big beotch into my basement.
Have I mentioned how much I hate moving those things?▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #4 ▪█─────█▪

I was wondering this very thing prior to putting my mats in over carpeting. I did a search here and found that most folks said that you could put stall mats in over carpeting with no problem. However, I did find at least one post which indicated that staining of the carpet could be a problem. So... given that there might even be a remote chance of the rubber mat staining the carpet below, I opted to put a canvas drop cloth between the mat and the carpet. Recently, when I added two more mats to my workout area, I pulled the older mats off the drop cloth. The drop cloth looked fine; no staining. There were a lot of rubber particles covering the drop cloth though.
So, I think the answer is that you're probably okay putting the mats in directly over carpeting. However, if you want to play it safe, for only a small added expense, you can do as I did and put a drop cloth between the mat and carpeting.

I don't know anything about their shipping policy. If there isn't a TS around you, there may be some other type of farm supply place that will have them. I assume there are horse farms or barns with large animals somewhere around you. If so, they probably have some sort of stall mat for their animals and they'll have to get them from somewhere....and probably not shipped because they're freaking expensive to ship.
They're big...about 100lbs each, 4'x6', and 3/4" thick. There's more info on them here....just do a search.

I wanted something a little more professional looking so I went with some 1/2" thick rubber gym flooring:

It cost me $572 after taxes and shipping to cover a 12'x13' space. About twice the cost of stall mats, but it looks really nice. It came in 3 rolls that weighed probably 100 lbs. each and getting them down the steps to the basement was a total pain in the ass. I actually pulled a muscle in my back doing it. I can't imagine trying to get a 13'x13' piece of rubber moved anywhere inside a house. My Journal (RIP 05/11 - 09/13):
