    Heavyweight boxers

Anyone wonder how heavyweights like David Haye or Evander Holyfield maintain there size even though they do almost all cardio work? I mean do they just eat more? Its hard enough to move up a weight class with lean mass let alone do it whilst boxing and running 5 miles a day several times a week, Lemme know ya thoughts!

That's a good question. I'm sure they maintain a high caloric intake to balance out all the burned calories. My best guess wound be a combination of weight training and a naturally muscular (genetics) body.

Those dudes are at the pinnacle of their professional sport. They have diet and nutritionalists tweaking their calories to the nth degree maximizing their optimal potential.

Haye, Holyfield, Klitchko, and the likes have elite muscular genetics. Although I have seen Klitchko pay special attention to nutrition in pre fight training videos. If you look at most heavyweights They appear to be muscular(yet not ripped by any means). I would assume that diet plays a role considering the amount of cardio they do.

Also many of the top guys these days don't train year round and take breaks after fights. I have heard stories of Buster Douglas and Riddick Bowe blowing up to 375 lbs in between training.
    Lighweight Baby!

On a more serious note, of course. And I don't know how people overlook this simple fact.

Yeah Buster Douglas nearly got a heart attack he got so fat, Tyson is the only one with no question of steroids, that guy was huge at 12/13
