was looking over the past 2 months of macros and I am averaging around 160grams of protein being as heavy as I am should I back off some on protein to lose more mass first?
Or you guys think 160g is a good place right now?

Ya know, my little girl is all the reason I need to keep this up. I never saw either of my grandfathers. Both died before I was born of a heart attack (early 50's). I refuse to be come like them. I love watching her. I want to be able to run around with her (and the new one coming in november) in out back yard. I'm hoping that when I have my knee surgery and the fact that I'll have lost 70+ lbs, that running around after a 4 year old will not be an issue.

Destroyed my food schedule by eating 3 slices of pizza today.
Hooray now for having to chug down 0.5cup of cottage cheese with WATER.... No bread... Then having to eat 3 hard boiled eggs... 25 cocktail shrimp (someone kill me, please)... And, the worse, 10 slices of turkey breast... Only 2cups of 2% fat milk to gulf all this down.
Not looking forward for these "meals".
I might throw everything in a bow and pretend its cereal. I'll report back with updates.-ARRIVE

Macros are in for the day:
1,736 103 62 195 *cals, carbs, fats, pro*
No workout today. Today and tomorrow is off day. I may do some cardio tomorrow. Or maybe I'll go for a walk? Not sure.
Tomorrow is weigh in day. Hopefully, I can at least drop 1 lb this week. This morning I was exactly where I was last Sunday.
Oh, found me a small container of Ben and Jerrys Brownie Ice Cream tonight. I will fit it into my macros tomorrow! 240 calories for the entire container. I can swing that I think.Last edited by TelusLob; 05-21-2011 at 06:45 PM.

Hmm, been too damned busy since Friday dealing with this upcoming job interview in VA. Had to keep an eye on my calories for the past few days, but since I seem to be in a constant 3k deficit according to my Bodyfit Media whether I work out of not. lol

I know i envy the guys that can eat a lot of calories.

Bodyfit Media Device is awesome...tracks all sorts of stuff. Only problem is they shipped it with a medium armband when my guns need a large...so yeah, it's restrictive right now.
As an example of what I was talking about earlier.
Back/Biceps/Cardio on the 18th of May
Today, rest day, no exercise

Amazing workout today, saturday is usually a random day for me my goal is at least 30 mins of cardio which i did. Also did alot of body excercises.
about 50 pullups
took a 10lb medicine ball started in the right hand in a pushup position after doing the pushup i did a bear crawl forward while switching the ball to my other hand went forward for 5 reps on each arm and backwards for 5 reps each arm for 4 sets INSANE!!!!
I took 30 lb dumbells and did pushups and when i reached the max'd out position i did lawnmower row with the dumbell alternating arms.
for abs i took a barbell with 45 lb plates on each side, layed down and locked the weight out and did leg swings for 10 reps each side for 4 sets.
then i took 40lb dumbells one in each hand did a lunge with each leg then curled the weight and went into an arnold press for 4 sets of 6
Sorry for the blue collar explanations but they where thought up on the fly and im not sure if they are named or not.
GREAT workout!! and im ready to weigh in monday
(maxing out of bench and squat monday as well!)

It has several sensors for automatically logging activity, even sleeping. A heat flux sensor detects when your muscles are actively contracting, a 3 axis accelerometer tells it when you're moving/walking, etc. a skin temperature sensor monitors your body temperature and a galvanic skin sensor detects when you're profusely sweating from exercising.

This looks like an amazing tool for weight loss / bulk. Would you recommend?
I'm reading a few comments and it seems like it is extremely accurate, is this so?
Sounds interesting. If it's really as accurate as some people are claiming I might just get one to see how I can further improve weight loss.-ARRIVE

Bleh
I'm probably going to see a 6+ lb gain this week, I know some is going to be water weight but not all of it.
My bike's been @ the LBS for a tune-up since Wed but I wouldn't have been able to get out anyways. I've been laid up since Thursday morning after having surgery to remove 5 teeth + cut a hole in the roof of my mouth to chain/bracket an impacted canine. And I keep getting food shoved @ me from my mom w/ her saying "you look pale, eat eat eat".
Ah well, back home now and able to get back to cutting in peace.Last edited by Iam918; 05-21-2011 at 08:54 PM.

I feel it's fairly accurate as long as you make sure and wear the device properly and pretty much keep it on 23 hours a day (yes, you even sleep with it on). It logs pretty much everything you do and uses that information to determine your calorie expenditure. Kinda funny, it's also listed as a class II medical device.

Ate alittle more calories than I wanted tonight since weigh in is tomorrow, but I kept those carbs really low. I ate some wonderful steak and seared ahi tuna sashimi tonight! I was pissed because I got a salad and they only had full fat dressings at the place we ate. Kind of added unnecessary calories that fit in but I really didnt need. I was proud of myself I didnt eat a single bite of french fries or onion rings or fresh made bread that was on the table! I did get some sweet ceces frozen yogurt red velvet flavor with hot fudge for dessert but this was planned and I enjoyed every bite!
Question to food loggers...Do you all log vegetables or omit them from your counter? I count mine but I see alot of people on here with logs that dont track them.{{**Misc Cologne Crew**}}
