    Back after a long break!!

Hiya. I haven't been on here for well over a year, in fairness i have had another little boy who is now 4 months. I am currently following the nrolfw and doing zumba twice a week as my cardio. I am eating 1650 cals a day and using www.weightlossresources to track my food. I have got a lot of weight to lose as i'm up to 13stone9lbs..ouch. What i need from you guys is reassurance that what i'm doing is right.. I am lifting heavy and getting stronger every time i go. My friend who is a PT tells me i should be doing more cardio and going lighter on the weights and my dh is saying the same, "don't want me to builk up"....I'm hearing this so much from people that im starting to second guess myself...please help x

Women do not have the genetic capability to "bulk" up out of no where, it takes time and the proper diet and training to add lots of muscle mass. Your PT friend is highly misinformed as is your husband. The way you are approaching this is to lose fat, not just weight, and to maintain the muscle you have, IMHO I think is the smarter way to go. If you went full out with low cal and lots of cardio you may lose weight fast but you may not like the way you look after.

Congrats on the little one and good luck with your goals!
That which does not kill me, better run like hell!!!

Never take your home gym for granted, one day it will not be there and then you have to deal with people.

I like eating, it helps with the not dying.

If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

Thank you, this is just what i needed to hear. It's just so annoying when i'm constantly hearing i should be doing more cardio, especially from qualified people. More fool them and from now on i'll take it in one ear and out the other :-)
