Police issue warrant at wrong address, kill family pet, let suffer for 3 hours

I'm not THAT much of an animal lover but that's absolutely brutal. Cop should be fired, sued, etc. You just don't go around killing dogs, cats, cattle, whatever just because you're the police.

Actually you can. At least in this country. You shouldn't be able to but you can. Assuming you're a cop of course. This type of crap happens all the time.

It wasn't the officer who killed the dog. I stand by that.

That is stupid. Im going to go hit somebody with my car, if they die later in hospital because they cannot receive treatment fast enough, I didnt kill them did I?

You can't say what the officer needed to do, as you weren't there to witness. The officer will lie, the dog's owner will lie. You need to use deductive reasoning and logic to make an educated guess as to what actually happened if you want to be taken seriously.

If the cop is going to lie, I highly doubt he is capable of doing is job correctly, because if he is following protocol and procedures, he should not have to lie to justify his actions.

As of now, you're responding to your emotions, which have no role in logic.
