Which do you prefer and why? Please do not come in this thread talking trash about one or the other if you haven't had both. If you like one, that's great, but don't proclaim it to be the best if you haven't had the other.
Also post up what you order at each restaurant respectively.
Personally I prefer Five Guys More. Neither chain is any where near where I live, so I jump on any opportunity to eat either. But the quality of the products used at Five Guys is above and beyond, especially in regards to their fries.

Basically what brought on the thread was Maxim just did like a 3 page article about how great In-n-Out is, and I thought it was a bit over the top, as Five Guys is superior (imo)

I had some fries from 5 guys once and I was not impressed. It was a soggy steamed mess in a brown paper bag. No crisp at all and undercooked. I wish there was a In and Out burger here.

was just at 5 guys yesterday...got the fries and standard double hamburger with ketchup and mustard...so freakin good...believe the fries are cooked in peanut oil for flavor...there's no in n outs by me, but i did eat at one when i was in cali several years back, and was pretty good...from what i recall tho, i like 5 guys better, plus there is one about 25 minutes from me...

Only people who live on the east coast and never had in-n-out would say taht five guys are better..(yes have had both)
