    Exclamation

    Depends, whether you're 60 kg or 160 kg or something in between.

    But I consider a 120 kg snatch and 150 kg clean and jerk to be ok unless the lifter is really light.

    Maybe we could say a certain percentage of your bw is a good number, like maybe 120% for snatch and 150% for clean and jerks. Opinions?

    go here: http://www.bcweightlifting.ca/
    under the tab Athletic Funding/Development there is Qualifying Standards.

    Is that sorta what you were looking for? Up here, each province differs slightly. Unfortunately it's overall total, not each individual lift. I was told though, that it's usually a 10-20k gap between your snatch and your C&J....

    Bodyweight snatch is my coach's benchmark for qualifying as a 'true' Olympic lifter as well.

    another good reference chart:

    3 = novice
    2 = intermediate
    1 = "good" I suppose
    CMS = qualify for nationals basically
