Basketball. You can call a foul on every play.

Baseball is the easiest IMO with the major issue keeping strike zone consistent.

Football. That is why they give the coaches those red flags because refs admit their job is too hard.

Holding on nearly every play in some form.
Pass interference can be called on a lot of plays.
    Blocking in the back.
    etc.

Yeah, maybe you can call a foul on every play in this soft NBA, but that's not the way the game should be called.

It is clearly football or basketball just because of the fast nature of the sports.

Baseball is the easiest; computers can umpire for the most part.

That's why they have two referees and two linesmen. I don't think being a hockey official is the hardest. I'd say football is harder.

If they did it in basketball, they would be throwing the red flags after every single foul call.

    It's basketball, hands down.

The more people and the more spread out a game field is, the harder it is to referee. I think soccer is one of them, as well as football.

Honestly I think football. Basketball isn't that hard to call if you just consistently enforce the advantage/disadvantage principle.

So many different infractions that could completely change the course of an entire game could be committed in a split second by any one of the 22 players on a football field, every single play.

Basketball is so hard to officiate that the refs gave themselves a break and stopped calling traveling.

Basketball. With other sports there are technical limitations. But with basketball the rules themselves are just so difficult to enforce (aka a ****ty rulebook that needs to revised to be more objective).

    Basketball easily.

Hardly ever see a game reffed the same way throughout the entire game (what wasn't a foul in the 1st gets called in the 4th).

Definitely hockey... imagine trying to seperate 6'9" Zdeno Chara from 6'8" Hal Gill. Fukk that sh it.

Soccer would be tough too. Only 1 ref, running all over the place, trying to see when players actually get fouled or if they flop, especially inside the 18, would be tough as fuuuuu. Add in the fact that the fans will literally hunt you down if you blow a call, and I would say that its pretty tough.
