How do you calculate your macros

For food from legit restaurants that don't have nutrition data?

Caloriecount.com has a good list of nutritional information. I always load it up on my phone when eating somewhere.

If its not there you could bring a scale and weigh the food and then multiply its mass in grams by 5 to get the amount of calories it contains.

Yes but I'm talking about restaurants that are one of a kind, not chains. You won't find that info online.

I'm definitely not bring a scale.

I'm thinking that looking up similar food online and estimating is the best option.
