    Angry AT a weight loss stand still

    ok so i have been dieting about 4 months now since i woke up to how overweight i was at 447 pounds. my goal is around 320 pounds as i am a very big guy. i am currently at 371 pounds. the problem i have is that i have lost no weight what so ever in the past 3 weeks and its really getting frustrating. im counting my fat carbs protien ex. and i lift hard 4 days a week and also go for about an hour walk 5-6 days a week.

    i am just wondering what things may have worked for you all and what you recomend to get past platues such as the one im experincing. also What type of things keep you going when you have those days when you feel like just saying SCREW IT ALL!
    started december 16th 2010 at 447 pounds goal of 270 pounds and under 15%bf weight on january 1, 2012 295 pounds, thats 152 total pounds lost 6foot4 and 22 years old

    That's a really good job so far! When you hit a platue is when you start fiddling with your diet, might try lowering cal's a bit and see what that does for you or if you are already at a big deficit, try going to maintenance for a week or 2 then go back down. Just need something to shock your bady into fat burning mode again. Keep up the great work tho !

    id say on a good day i get no more then like 1700 calories intake

    try to eat at maintenance for a cpl weeks then and then go back to eating at a deficit. At that kind of deficit, for your stats, your body may just need a break from it for a cpl weeks. After you try it for a cpl weeks go back to eating at a deficit and you should see some more weight loss

    thanks i was thinking about trying that for about 7 -10 days then getting back on my diet, mantaining for me is like 3200+ calories

    I'm in the same boat went from 225 to 196, been stuck since, my diet is about 1500 to 1700 cals. Gonna try 2100 for a week hopefully its only for a week I don't like to eat a lot. Should a week be all that's needed?
