hey bsnizzle, how do you make your sludge? i just switched over to IIFYM-style dieting yesterday and i'm loving it. i tried to make a sludge-like meal by using FF greek yogurt, FF/SF cheesecake flavored pudding mix, and broken up pieces of a strawberry poptart. it was good, but i feel like i might have missed an important ingredient (although i may have gone too light with the pudding mix)

try adding xatham gum or something similar to make it thicker. Also use some kind of blend protein or casien.

I found myself doing extra cardio on some days because I wanted to eat more, etc. The more bodyfat and weight I put on though, the less desire I had for food and less I was thinking about it. I honestly think it can be a good tool just to see what you burn daily, but as far as long term use goes, I honestly think it can lend itself to developing an ED.
i think everyone goes through that to some degree post show though, or even post diet, regardless of how far they take it. thats what kept me from getting one. i already had anxiety about getting fat, and to top it off that was when my hormone issues were just starting to get noticed, so that would def. have been more of a negative stimulus than anything

Getting fat is the scariest thing after getting peeled lol. I think a lot of it stems from your hormones being out of whack from being such a low bf.

Hell, I wish. If that was the case I'd be losing weight a whole lot faster. It's probably closer to 2.5k.

and your squat/DL strength while on a deficit is seriously inspirational. i'm starting smolov in a couple weeks and was worried about doing it on a relatively low cal intake (not a deficit, but not up to what i consider "bulking" numbers). after those squat and DL vids, my worries are history.

Yeah, I do notice my pressing takes a hit when I diet though. Even though I'm setting PR on low calories, it gets me excited thinking about what I can and will do at caloric maintenance/surplus! My next program after another cycle of 5/3/1 is going to be the base mesocycle of Smolov but I'm too scared to attempt it while dieting.
