what the title says. cuz i use to max out everytime i felt like i can do it but now i feel like its pointless and only for show

the more experienced you are, the less often you can do it.
not exact but;
for a beginner, you can do it every fortnight.
for an advanced lifter, 4-5 times a year.Powerlifter at PTC Performance Training Centre
661 squat, 385 bench, 705 deadlift, 1752lb total.
