I've seen alot of you following our English Premier Leaugue Football/Soccer teams. Plus I'm playing and training for a London-based American Football Club as a hobby. I want to take a keen well-rounded interest in the sport though.
Preferably an under-dog team, that is usually 2nd or 3rd best/superbowl champs whatever.

Google 2011 NFL Draft Order and select a team that is in the top 10. All of them are underdogs. If you become a fan of one of the teams you just listed you will be a bandwagon fan.

We sucked balls last year (2nd worst record in the league) but have a proud history and a winning tradition. This was the first year the team won less than 6 games since like the 70's I believe. Team has won 2 superbowl rings (back to back) but that was over a decade ago.
Perfect team to start following. They aren't a ****ty perennial loser franchise like the Lions or the Browns, but they're in a down stretch so if you start following them now nobody can accuse you of being a bandwagon jumper.
Also, the team has the GOAT QB of all time (yes, very debateable, but you can't question his candidacy):
John Elway. One of the most legendary QB's in NFL history.
