    Optimum Nutrition Melatonin?

Your Thoughts on it & Can you build up a tolerance for it if you take it everyday I thought Melatonin is natural in the body.

    Reps for good answers

From my personal experience and reading. Melatonin is the hormone when it begins to get dark out tells the body " hey its time to sleep"

I do not believe you can build a tolerance.

I myself have been taking melatonin for years. 3 mgs works the same now as it has 5 years ago.

Melatonin should not be taken to frequently otherwise you will build up your tolerance, i started with 1 pil (3mg) and now i have to take 2 in order to get anything out of it. Works great though, one of the reasons im actually able to sleep in college

I have been taking every night for about 6 months... Cheap as hell and does work. Crazy dreams too! But if nothing else, the placebo effect seems to keep me awake if I don't take it.

Sometimes when I take it and not fall asleep, I go into zombie mode and cannot fall asleep at all
