Americans, your country is corrupt. 100% corrupt. Capitalism has no place in health whatsoever. I really laugh at far right retards who think everything should be privatised including health. Put your health in the hands of someone who is just out to make money, really?
Alot of our problems can be brought down to nutrition. Do you think your ancestors would have lived to reproduce if they were busy being depressed? Probably not. Depression is caused by lack of chemicals in the body like endorphins or serotonin. Do you think your sorry ass set of genes would have survived if they didn't produce the chemicals needed for us to live properly? **** no, it's caused by a deficiency of some sort. If you don't get enough protein, you can't grow/build muscle. If you don't get enough calories, you starve. If you don't get enough micro nutrients, you can expect a similar toll on your health. And chances are these deficiencies aren't in prozac.

you can not beat cancer by dieting. Diet is indeed a risk factor for various cancers. It could prevent cancer possibly.
But to say you can cure cancer by dieting is a dangerously idiotic statement which devalues the sacrifices that cancer patients have made. You saw a ****ing video. That doesn't make you an an oncologist. I've seen the video FYI.
Stop spouting bullish. It might work for depression, cancer is different.

Actually I feel there is some truth in what OP is saying. When I was In Iraq Animal sent me a bunch of free supps even two free tubs of Animal pack ( Thank you btw) . Although its like ten pills a day I notice a big difference in my mood, energy ,libido and everything. Actually better then any pro hormone in my in my opinion. I still take them to this day. I know I could buy my own vitamins cheaper and make my own packs but **** it.

This is very, very interesting. Are there are books out there that go into more detail than the documentary?
I believe that nutritional therapy can help a lot, one of my uncles was diagnosed with MS and changed his diet and workout routine completely. He also supplements with higher doses of many different vitamins and minerals. He says that other than having to deal with MS, it is the best he's ever felt in his life.Women come and go, cars and material objects come and go. Your body & your motivation, dedication and lifestyle stay with you to the very end.

Do you refrain from using any drugs produced by American companies, or derived from American research?
If not, then capitalism is what is driving your health innovations as well.
But I agree that people overmedicate. While capitalism has a place in health innovation, it is foolish to accept what for-profit companies say as gospel. When all that says 'it is good' has been debunked, what says 'I want' remains.

I'm not attacking America as a country with my post, I'm just saying that capitalism should not be let near health. It's fine for, say, buying a car when there is no lack of competition and our livelihoods aren't at stake. But when the medical industry can turn a blind eye to more effective(but less profitable) treatments then you know you're doing things wrong.

So true. Every time I tell someone this I get called a conspiracy theorist. It's really just logic... the more sick people there are the more money is made. Simple as that. And when there are sick people they never get told to go to the gym, eat right and get nutrient levels evaluated and treated.
Well yes soil is depleted but that doesn't mean the next option is to stop eating fruits and vegetables. By buying organic fruits and vegetables the nutrient content will be substantially higher than non organic mass farmed fruits/vegetables.
I am datarsch btw(shh).
It's even worse in med schools. It's really sad what medicine has become.
Rx medications are so great for a lot of people and should be used.. but they are given out like candy today. If you get a cold you go to your pediatrician and he gives you 3 different medicines. Since the cold isn't going to harm or kill you, why? It's like breaking your leg and the doc telling you hes going to leave it broken and give you pain pills for the rest of your life instead of setting the bone and allowing the body to heal.
If we had more students like you who actually understood the importance of BOTH drugs and nutrition/supplements we would be a lot better off. But they think that they know everything and drugs are all you need since there is one for virtually every problem under the sun.

I'd drop the niacinamide and rely on whats in your complex. Even a b-100 daily will push your b vitamin levels pretty high with continued use.
Inositol functions extremely similar to an SSRI. It amplifies the serotonin signal but doesn't increase serotonin levels. It also doesn't come with the horrible side effects and is actually liver protective, not toxic. If your depressed and nothing else is working inositol is almost guaranteed to work if you have serotonin related depression.
Keep in mind depression due to serotonin issues is not the only kind which is why SSRI's are improperly used a lot of times and used to treat ALL types of depression when not all depression is due to that. Inositol does basically the same thing and is a supplement that is good for you.

ok.. I'm 18 and I only got to page 5 and I'm sold..
Actually though, I have been thinking about this for a long time.. not necessarily curing cancer or depression but just from watching the documentary "Food Inc." it made me want to stop eating fast food which I have.. My grandad is a huge herb guy for his sleep and anger problems (not weed), and there is no way I'm getting all the vitamins/minerals/herbs that I need through my diet.. So I know I need to be supplementing as much as I can because where I live, nobody has even heard of a health food store.. my town has less than 10,000 people and we live in Tennessee which is like in the top 5 most unhealthiest places in the US.. dont get me wrong I love TN but I can't eat healthy anywhere, especially in my town.. we have a mcdonalds, burger king, sonic, wendys, arbys, taco bell, within like 10 feet from eachother and that's literally it.. besides small family-owned restaurants.. and Walmart and Kroger is the only places to get groceries.. which we all know is still limited on organic stuff.. especially in this region of the country (they sell foods that your area eats the most)
I wish I had a good site to order Bison, Ostrich, and other meat like that.. Along with a list of stuff I could buy like those goji berries and kale or whatever eveyrbody else calls superfoods.. I'm sick of being unhealthy, down, and sluggish all the time.. I want to be happier and more motivated.. My mom wants be to get put on ******** for my problems in school too but I dont like that idea.. I dont even like eating cereal because of the iron filings.. everything is so corrupt.. why..

Check out the weston a price foundation's website and try and find a chapter near where you live.
ht tp://.realmilk.com/where5.html#tn
That should have somewhere near you that has organic products and meats/dairy
I am sure there is one remotely close to where you live.
You don't need supplements to have good health. All you need is a well rounded diet with lots of sleep and exercise. That being said, they do have their place but to say your not healthy because you don't have supplements is far from the truth.
I would really try and find a supplier of good foods... there should be one on that list I gave you.

Just remember dietary supplement companies are just the same as any other company, they're looking to make money. They'll cut corners as much as they can: vitamins in the cheapest form that have crap absorption or low grade fish oils that have low levels of the active ingredients or become oxidised before they are sold being a few examples.
It's annoying how much crap you have to wade through to find the correct things made in the correct way that do what they're supposed to.
Also taking a ton of pills three times a day etc can actually be quite time consuming and another thing to worry about.☆☆☆υк ¢яєω☆☆☆

But where are the studies on niacin's effectiveness for treating depression? In the documentary it talked about how a depressed woman was "cured" by 3000mg a day of niacin but the video did not describe how niacin promoted that change in behavior, how that dosage level was arrived at, and what long term effects of these vitamins are. Where is the specific scientific research? All I hear is a lot of vague statements in this documentary.

Price published a book detailing his global travels studying the diets and nutrition of various cultures, coming to the conclusion that so-called Western diet was the cause of many diseases and held that dental health - and consequently physical health - were heavily influenced by nutritional factors.
That's basically cliffs of it

after doing more research it seems like Inositol is much more effective than niacin, or rather better researched for depression/anxiety. the only problem is you have to take a quite a bit of it. I'm going to try one at a time to narrow down which works best for me anyways. Niacin, Inositol, or Sam-E.
